Our services include Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Medical Acupuncture and Personal Training. We also offer health club membership which includes use of the gym, pool, spa and saunas.
Membership at the health club is completely back to normal now with all our facilities open again. We are taking pool bookings to help control the numbers in the pool at any one time and State Covid requirements mean that we can only open during supervised hours. The new opening hours are 7 AM - 7 PM weekdays and 9 AM - 7 PM weekends.
Our health clinic is open for appointments with Dr Andrew Elkerton and also with our Exercise Physiologists, Andrew Bonsey and Brenton Watson and Physiotherapist, Jane Wilkinson. Our services are also still available through Telehealth video conferencing for those that would prefer remote appointments.
All our health clinic appointments are available through a Telehealth system if patients prefer remote sessions. This involves a video conference to visually assess and observe patients. The software even enables us to design and monitor individualised exercise programs, complete outcome measures and monitor progress. It's a process that has been in use for many years and has been shown to be a very effective treatment approach.
We've set up an online store so you can order exercise therapy products such as fitballs, spikey balls, therapy bands (theraband) and power loops. We've set up this online shop to make it easier for people to access these products for home use.
Our Exercise Physiologists, Andrew Bonsey and Brenton Watson are offering free videos on a new HT Health Group Youtube channel we've set up for you. These videos provide some home exercise sessions to keep you fit and strong while the gym and all pools are closed.
