Our Emerging Athlete Program is held at the High Performance Gym at the University of Tasmania Unigym Facility. We recognise the different conditioning requirements for sprinters, jumpers, throwers, lifters, gymnasts, dancers, swimmers, field sports & court sports. We deliver specific programs for sports teams or training squads.
We can undertake physical assessments that clearly identify your physical capabilities and weaknesses. We have developed assessment protocols to help you keep track of your progress and give you quantitative data through body scanning, lactate testing, strength testing, fitness testing & lung capacity analysis.
Our Strength & Conditioning Programs are specific for each type of athlete and take into account injury prevention and rehabilitation requirements. We train groups and individuals in our High Performance Gym at the University of Tasmania Unigym facility.
Exercise Physiologists prescribe exercises to improve posture, reduce pain, and to improve strength and regain full mobility and function.
We support athletes with injury assessment and recovery. Our rehabilitation programs take into account the high level of performance that athletes are aiming to achieve.
We offer spirometry breathing tests and VO2 Max testing to give you accurate information about your fitness levels and lung capacity. Lactate testing, strength testing and other fitness assessments can also be undertaken to get information that assists in design of athlete training programs.
