I know that your story is more than the number on the scale. I know what it feels like to start, & start again. I know your days are full, & tiring.

I know.

I know what it feels like to heave yourself out of a chair, and for everyday tasks to be so exhausting.

I know how precious the end-of-day collapse in a chair feels.

I know what it's like to wake up without feeling refreshed, wondering how to survive the day.

I know what it's like to feel lost & overwhelmed.

I know how confusing nutrition labels can be & awkward new movements feel. I know what it's like to not physically be able to do the exercise & how defeating that feels.

I know what it's like to stare wide-eyed at your reflection & not recognize yourself.

I know what it's like to hurt so bad the days after.

I know what it's like to not see the results I wanted. I know what it's like to be embarrassed while doing a workout.

I know what it's like to work out amid washing piles, in pajamas, holding cans of diced tomatoes instead of weights.

I do know what it's like to be the biggest in the room.

I know what it's like to feel desperate for change & devastated by the state of my health & fitness.

But I also know what it's like to run my first 400m. My first 5km, 10km, half marathon & marathon. I know what it's like to do my first push-up, then my first set of 10. I know what it's like to wake with energy. To feel strong, & healthy & capable..

I believe in you, I am here for you. I am teary-eyed right now... because I might not know your story but I know you have one.

& I used to look at these extraordinary amazing fit people, doing extraordinary fit things - & I thought that wasn't in my reach.

I didn't realise how extraordinary - an ordinary person could feel.

I didn't realise what extraordinary results - a whole consistent amount of ordinary workouts could achieve.

I believe in extraordinary things for you because I am such a very ordinary person, who decided to start giving an extraordinary amount of effort to my ordinary life.

I know first hand the importance and the impact of a healthy lifestyle.

You don't have to have weight to lose, or big goals to shoot for to get a HUGE high 5 from me. I believe you are worth an extraordinary amount of effort, investment & attention in every season of life.

Your health & happiness are a big deal, so I am always going to make a big deal out of them.

That's WHY I became a coach, that's WHY I consider it a joy & privilege to cheer for you & champion you every time you invest in yourself.

You can train with Gabrielle at the Wrest Point Health Club or at the Sandy Bay Unigym.  You don't have to be a member of either gym, but it's cheaper if you are.
